/// For Ravie Co's 3rd challenge, the one-word prompt "Mythic" inspired me to create an abstract animation that embodies the essence of mythology and mystery. After word mapping and sketching, I conceptualized a visual narrative featuring a mythical sea creature swimming towards an Ancient Greek-inspired building, where a Medusa-like figure resides. The goal was to evoke a sense of wonder and intrigue, drawing viewers into a mythic world.

/// The development phase began with brainstorming and sketching ideas to capture the mythic and mysterious theme. I decided on a storyline that combines elements of ancient mythology with a surreal, abstract style. The storyboard was crafted to guide the animation, emphasizing the journey of the sea creature and the reveal of the Medusa-like figure.
For the production, I used Adobe After Effects and Blender to bring the animation to life. The process included:
Designing Elements: Creating abstract and fantastical visuals to represent the mythical sea creature and the Ancient Greek-inspired building. The Medusa-like figure was designed with an otherworldly and enigmatic appearance.
Animation: Developing smooth and fluid animations that convey the sea creature's journey through the water and the eventual encounter with the Medusa-like figure. Techniques like particle effects and lighting were used to enhance the mystical atmosphere.
Color Palette: Utilizing a green and orange color palette to create a striking contrast, with green symbolizing the underwater environment and orange highlighting the Ancient Greek-inspired building and the Medusa-like figure.
